NIMASA DG Calls for Reflection on the Virtues and Hope that Easter Embody

The Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, Dr. Dayo Mobereola has called on Christians to use the Easter celebration as a moment for sober reflection.
While delivering his Easter congratulary message, he said this significant event on the Christian calendar, which marks the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, should be centered on ideals of Christianity and commitment to personal and spiritual renewal.
He also charged Christians to always uphold the values of love, compassion, discipline, empathy and sacrifice that Jesus Christ embodies emphasizing that “these values inspire patriotism which is at the root of the growth and development of any nation”.
In his words, “the Easter celebration, which marks the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ will inspire renewed purpose, fresh beginnings and continued sacrifice to the service of the nation and humanity”.
Dr. Mobereola also noted that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ teach the values of sacrifice, hope and spiritual renewal.
He seized the medium to call on Christians to use the occasion to renew their faith in God and hope in the Nigeria.
The DG further urged Nigerians to imbibe these values of Easter and work collectively towards building a safer and more prosperous nation.
